Fall Guys Season 6 continues and, with the latest major update, receives the long-awaited cross-play between PC and console of the PlayStation family. To celebrate the launch of the Mid-Season Update, the guys from Mediatonic reveal at what point are the work on the Xbox and Switch ports of the party game.
Before providing an update on the development of the Xbox and Switch ports of Fall Guys, the English software house thanks Epic Games for the support offered in the development of the cross-play between PC and PlayStation. The latest update therefore allows all fans to participate in sparkling multiplayer challenges within shared lobbies.
In the spirit of constantly improving the Ultimate Knowckout gaming experience, Mediatonic takes the opportunity offered by the Mid-Season Update to announce the imminent arrival of Sweet Thieves, a new round that divides players into two teams consisting of Guards and Thieves: the former will have to defend the candies and block the evildoers, while the latter will have to take care to steal as many candies before the time runs out and to make their comrades in arms escape from a fictitious prison.
Returning to the porting issue, Mediatonic explains that it has now reached the final stages of development, consequently there will be no further setbacks after what has led, in recent months, to the postponement of Fall Guys on Xbox and Switch to 2024.
