Design and use | GXT980 REDEX and GXT834 CALLAZ review
Starting with GXT980 REDEX, I can say that to the touch it feels really resistant and of good quality. The scrolling on the mat is really great and in all our tests the mouse appeared to be really accurate and reliable. Even on the aesthetic level, the mouse is really nice to see, both when turned off and when illuminated. The ergonomics are quite good and you do not feel tired in use even after a few hours. During the various tests, thanks to its low latency, I was always able to move quickly and precisely, with or without wire. In addition, the battery has guaranteed me many hours of autonomy. Finally, how not to mention the customizable RGB lights, which allow you to choose the style you like best.
Moving on to keyboard GXT834 CALLAZ, taking it out of the box to connect it to the PC, gave me a really good impression (as indeed the mouse) to the touch. Lightweight, but solid at the same time, it feels really tough, especially thanks to its upper metal plate (and then just think that the mechanical keys were created to guarantee up to 50 million presses). Very compact, given the absence of the numeric keypad, it is not cluttered and does not take up space on the desk. After long hours of testing, I can say that I have not felt tired in use, since I have not found any resistance in the individual keys. The backlit effect is also very nice, especially when working in the dark.
Conclusions and price Trust GXT 980 REDEX Wireless
I must say that these new Trust devices, GXT 980 REDEX Wireless and Trust GXT 834 CALLAZ particularly convinced me in terms of technology, materials, design and performance. Below I will tell you more about the mouse and give you my opinions. The feature that struck me the most about this device is its being similar to a simple desktop mouse, even though it was created specifically for gaming.
Le only flawsIn my opinion, what I can complain about is that it didn't respond to key clicks at times, but after a few seconds it started working fine again. Also, it has a battery saving mechanism that cuts the connection until you click. Overall though, it's one of the best mice of its kind on the market at this price point, so I definitely recommend it. The price of the mouse is around 40,00 € about, in my opinion in line with the market standard. In line, above all, with the quality of the product that you will take home.
