How to make a treasure map in Minecraft
The first thing is to know how to read a map in Minecraft or a treasure map. So, to make your own map you must have a work table, an oven and some materials. The table allows you to create the map and the components for the compass with the oven. We present a list of what you will need:
- Sugar cane: These canes are green stems and usually grow near streams. You need 9 stems.
- Iron ores: They are similar to a gray block, but with orange spots. You need 4 minerals.
- Fuel: You can use any material that ignites, you need four blocks, it can be wood, coal or coal.
- Red stone: They are similar to a gray rock, but with bright red markings. You need a stone pylon.
Melt the iron bars
Once the materials have been collected, open the oven by pressing the right button (PC), on the console the left button and in the case of mobile devices press on the oven. Insert the iron ore into the upper box of the furnace and then into the lower box put the fuel. In this way the oven will start working.
Put the iron bars in your inventory, for this select the bars and then choose an empty place in your inventory. For device versions, simply tap on an item and it will be moved directly to your inventory.
Make the compass
To make the compass you have to put the red stone pylon in the central square of the grid, then place an iron bar in the upper, middle, lower middle, left middle and right middle squares.
This will show a compass symbol. In the mobile version, tap the "Sword" card, then tap the compass symbol.
In the console version, select the tab "Gear", locate the compass symbol and press A (Xbox) or X (PS). Now move the compass into the inventory, you just need to select the compass and then the inventory.
Create the treasure map
You need to create 9 sheets; To do this, you need to put 3 sugar canes in the box at the bottom left, 3 at the bottom center and finally 3 at the bottom right.
In the version for devices, press the symbol which has the shape of a bed «Object», and press the symbol in the shape of white paper. On console, select "Item", then the "Card" symbol and press A or X. Once the card is ready, you can move it to your inventory.
Now that you've created the card, you can start creating the treasure map. Place the compass on the center square of the grid, then lay out the sheet of brown paper.
This sheet is the map. On the devices, press «Equipment» and select the map symbol. On consoles, press the map symbol and press A or X. Now you need to start filling the map.
After that, you can create a map in Minecraft with the mapping table. Since this type of table it will help you broaden your vision of the land.
How to use the treasure map in Minecraft
When you create a treasure map, it will be empty. You have to fill it and, for this, put the map in your character's hand and move from one place to another.
