The new robot vacuum cleaners of the Ecovacs DEEBOT X1 series have recently been presented to the public. We can say that it is finally a fully mature technology of the manufacturer that combines all the know-how accumulated in these years of activity in a single series of high-end products. In total, three new products will arrive on the market: The DEBOT X1 OMNI, DEBOT X1 TURBO and DEBOT X1 PLUS. All three boast the same technological base, with an excellent suction power of 5000 Pa, AIVI 3D and TrueMapping 2.0 technologies and the first integrated voice assistant ever seen in a robot vacuum cleaner called YIKO. The technologies of the new robot vacuum cleaners
The OZMO technology has been developed over the years and today we have arrived at the version OZMO Turbo 2.0 Rotating Mopping System. It combines the high speed rotation of the brushes with the high suction power that is able to remove not only dust but also stains and encrustations. The new technology AIVI 3D improves the perception of the environment thanks to the new generation RGBD sensors that also use HDR technology to ensure good performance even in the dark. With the support of AIVI 3D, the technology True Mapping 2.0 it is even more accurate and reliable in mapping rooms and guaranteeing excellent navigation skills. Everything is powered by the customized Horizon GAI chip whose firmware can be remotely upgraded to extend the life cycle of the new robot vacuum cleaners.
And then we have THAT'S IT, the voice assistant that allows you to interact with the robot in a natural way to be able to give commands in a simple and intuitive way. This is the first attempt to integrate such an advanced voice assistant directly into a robot, based on Google technology and therefore extremely reliable. Thanks to the camera and the microphones we could also monitor our home 24 hours a day and also communicate with our family members.
Ecovacs DEEBOT X1 PLUS: l’entry level
Let's start with the smallest brother in the range. This robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with a charging base with automatic emptying which avoids doing it manually. For washing we have the classic microfiber cloths on vibrating plates.
Ecovacs DEEBOT X1 Turbo: a mid-range
The Ecovacs DEEBOT X1 Turbo charging base is slightly different and is equipped with a self-cleaning system of the brushes, however, we do not have the option of automatic emptying. The robot maintains all the aforementioned functionalities.
Ecovacs DEEBOT X1 Omni: the best
This is the top of the range with a charging base equipped with all the options, namely the automatic emptying system and a system for automatic cleaning of floor cleaning cloths. Ecovacs DEEBOT X1 Omni essentially boasts both the features of the previous ones.
Price and availability
Although Ecovacs products had a high quality-price ratio, this new generation and all the associated technology has pushed the prices up a bit. let's start from 1.099 € VAT included for DeeBot X1 Plus, switching to 1.299 € of DeeBot X1 Turbo up to 1.499 € of the proposed DeeBot X1 Omni Summit.
