Philips Sound is previewing three new premium models, the first to be available on the new Fidelio dedicated AV eco-system, during the second half of 2024. All products will feature a premium finish that includes materials such as wood, aluminum and Muirhead sustainable leather. The new soundbar, subwoofer and satellite speaker have been designed to bring Fidelio performance and consistent range design to the streaming audio multi-room, multi-channel and high quality.
Philips Fidelio: the ever-expanding wireless AV eco-system
The Philips Fidelio wireless AV system is based on the proprietary DTS Play-Fi technology which uses a premium multi-room, App-controlled audio eco-system to offer seamless, easy connection and streaming between compatible TVs, mobile devices, sound bars and speakers, located throughout the home.
The new Philips Fidelio range also works as 'smart' eco-system, where each speaker can 'detect' when it has been connected to another, whether it is the Philips Fidelio FB1 soundbar, the Philips Fidelio FW1 subwoofer or the Philips Fidelio FS1 as rear channels or by adding a second Philips Fidelio FS1 in stereo pairing, in any case, the products automatically adjust to always guarantee the best possible acoustic performance.
Philips Fidelio FB1 soundbar: immersive sound performance that fills the room
Philips Fidelio FB1 is a soundbar 7.1.2 stand-alone e slim, specially designed to be paired with the latest models of high-end televisions. Frameless and minimalist, it comes with 15 drivers and 310W (RMS) of power to ensure engaging and enveloping performances throughout the room.
The soundbar is divided into independent enclosures for its own LCR sections to minimize crosstalk and ensure exceptional sharpness. Each of the LCR channels also features a pair of mid-frequency drivers mounted to the side of a tweeter in a classic D'Appolito configuration for a better integration of the sound in the middle and high frequency of the sounds. Due driver side-firing they are mounted, one at each end of the bar, to further extend the sound into the room and to create a realistic surround effect. Further extension is provided by two dedicated Dolby Atmos elevation drivers mounted on top of the bar, either side of a dedicated bass cabinet with two subwoofers.
Philips Fidelio's signature high-quality finish includes a Muirhead leather trim around the beveled edge of the soundbar and a acoustically transparent wire mesh, all perfectly designed with Philips premium TV models.

The Philips Fidelio FW1 wireless subwoofer: high quality sound and design
The Fidelio FW1 wireless subwoofer is equipped with a large 8″ woofer driver with two large side-mounted passive radiators working back-to-back, and a powerful amplifier of 200W (RMS) to provide deep, fast and detailed bass, ideal for movies and music. A mix of Muirhead leather and wood finishes with a brushed aluminum top give the FW1 a sophisticated, high-quality look and feel.

The Fidelio FS1 wireless speaker: speaker with a premium design
The Fidelio FS1 wireless speaker has a versatile and flexible design that offers three possibilities of use. It is ideal for use as a single unit, as a stereo pair or as aSatellite speakers in a system 7.1.4 with FB1 and FW1. A sophisticated feature is the front tweeter, an angled upward-facing mid-range unit and a downward woofer in its dedicated portion of the cabinet. Bass performance is further enhanced by the addition of two passive radiators. Power is one generous 60W (RMS) which allows the FS1 to function effectively in medium to large rooms.
Fidelio FS1 is amazing both because it allows it to be used as a single unit or as part of a system, and for the high quality of European design - with a mix of Muirhead leather and metal finishes - which bring to the line a high quality that rarely it is found in this market segment. And for a unique and immersive AV experience, the FS1 also offers built-in LED lights designed for work and synchronize with Ambilight TVs by Philips, extending the Ambilight effect throughout the room.
