What is Cyberpunk 2077? And on which platform is it best to play it?
cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person game set in a dystopian future where technological advancement, now out of control, has allowed people to improve themselves through the use of cybernetic systems of various kinds, also giving in the process immense power in the hands of various companies multinationals.
You will take on the role of V, who, for various reasons beyond his origins, will find himself surviving in the troubled city of Night City amidst unscrupulous criminals, corrupt cops and far from well-meaning corporations.
To help him on his journey he will find many allies, of which the most particular is certainly Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves), a personality who will settle in his mind and who will guide him in the futuristic metropolis.
In terms of gameplay, it can be seen as a first person shooter with RPG elements such as levels, stats and an overall emphasis on the story and the decisions you can make.
You can find it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC and Stadia, although at the moment it is no longer obtainable from the PlayStation Store having been delisted by Sony itself.
If you have heard of the title in the past few days, you will also know that the versions for old gen are currently almost unplayable, between fluctuating performance, continuous crashes and endless bugs.
For this reason, in case you want to buy it, we highly recommend the PC or Stadia version, depending on how comfortable you are.
In general, however, if you can't stand the idea of a game that is anything but perfect from a technical point of view, you will have to postpone the purchase for a few months, waiting for CD Projekt Red to fix all the problems encountered since launch.
Is it possible to better optimize the performance of the game on PC? And if so, how?
There are various settings you can focus on to optimize frame rate and graphics rendering of the title on PC.
We refer to the our guide on this. If you intend to try it on this platform, we recommend that you follow its directions as best you can, in order to make your Cyberpunk experience the best possible.
How many hours will it take to complete it?
It depends on how you want to approach the title.
If you just want to complete the main story, we're talking about a duration between the 20 and the 30 hours, while if you generally want to enjoy Night City while trying all it has to offer, you will easily come between the 80 and the 100 hours (including platinum).
However, it is not excluded that, if you want to have different role play experiences and play various games, you will play the title for much longer.
How many missions are there?

The main story will have roughly 30 missions, the number of which will vary according to the choices you make in the mission "Op55N1 Night Operation".
This choice will also determine which ending you get, so act with knowledge of the facts.
There will also be a secret ending, but for that you will first have to form a friendship with Johnny Silverhand, then take the choice with Rouge in Night Ops Op55N1 and finally, without clicking on the next choice, simply wait, continuing to look at Johnny, the gun and the pill.
Johnny will therefore offer you an alternative, in which however, if you die, you will immediately reach the game over, so get there well prepared.
For the other endings, however, I refer you to ours guide to platinum.
What about optional missions instead?
It goes without saying that the optional missions will be far more than 30, and they can be divided, in general, between secondary missions, contracts, search for cyberpsychopaths and NCPD scanner activities.
For now you can find one general guide always on the site, which, however, is still being completed as we get the information we will need.
Will it be possible to have love affairs with the main characters of the game?
With some you can, and there will be several homosexual options for those who want.
The characters with whom you can engage in relationships, more precisely, will be Alt Cunningham (in Johnny's memories), Panam Palmer, Meredith Stout, Kerry Eurodyne, Judy Alvarez, Rogue, River Ward and JoyToy / Prostitute.
For more information on how to relate to each and their sexual orientation, however, we refer you to ours romance guide.
What items will you be able to use on your character?
Like any self-respecting modern RPG, there will be a lot of objects and upgrades that we can apply to our character to make him stronger.

In general, however, you should know that each equipable item, be it a piece of armor or a weapon, will have different characteristics such as rarity and general statistics that will differentiate it from the others, so always check carefully how to manage everything in the best possible way.
A feature that at the moment is completely lacking in the title is the ability to differentiate the objects equipped by their aesthetics.
This means that, if you want to aim for efficiency in the gameplay and not for aesthetics, it will not be difficult for your character to become a sort of unwatchable futuristic harlequin, unfortunately.
It is hoped that some sort of WoW-style transmog or aesthetic slot like in the most recent Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition can be added once the development team has taken care of the main themes that plague the title.
Returning to us, however, V can also be enhanced by replacing parts of his body with cybernetic implants, so as to make the most of the technology that Night City has to offer.
As for the upgrades, however, what does the title have to offer?
Each character will have 5 attributes, that is Physical, Reflexes, Technical Skills, Intelligence and Coldness.
At the beginning of the creation of the character you will have the possibility to bring them between a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6, and they will then be increased up to a maximum of 20 by investing specific points called attribute points.
Under each attribute there are several Ability associated with them, which can be increased through the repetition of specific actions (for example, the "pistols" skill will increase by shooting with pistols and revolvers), and the so-called talents, which can be increased through specific points and which consist, in general, in passive profits.
Increasing the Attributes will allow you to further raise the cap of maximum enhancement of each Skill, and upgrading the Skills will offer an improvement in specific fields of the character and the receipt of valuable Talent Points to unlock the talents.
Skills and Talents will not be resettable, while Talents can be thanks to a tool that can be obtained after completing the game called “TABULA E-RASA”, which can be purchased at any scalpel for 100.000 euros.
How big is the explorable map? Is there a reputation system with Night City?
Cyberpunk 2077 is a real open world, so you can expect one Night City extremely vast, divided into various districts with different characteristics and inhabitants.
However, you can quickly travel between each area through the use of the terminals that you will unlock as you explore, which you will need to do as they are necessary to obtain one of the various trophies of the title.
By also completing primary, secondary missions, contracts and NCPD scanner activities, you can increase the so-called Street Cred, the city's reputation system, up to a maximum of 50.
Do this and you will get various benefits, such as new weapons and implants to buy from shopkeepers and scalpels.
Are there any collectibles scattered around the map?
Yes, and also of a different kind. The most common are certainly the cars, which you can find around the map or buy from retailers (and at a high price, which is why, if you want to platinum the title, you will have to save).
Then there are the tarot cards and Johnny Silverhand's clothes, which will be a little more particular and less frequent but which will still allow us to obtain two useful trophies.
I refer you to ours guide to platinum to know how to get each trophy.
